重點設備

現有教學與研究設備有微波無反射室、寬頻發射天線(1-18 GHz)、標準增益天線、介質接收天線座、電磁波遠場量測系統(NSI 800F)、NSI2000軟體、向量網路分析儀(HP8753D, ~6GHz)、印刷電路顯影機、印刷電路雕刻機,另外天線操作模擬軟體(IE3D)、電磁模擬軟體(Ansoft HFSS)等等。貴重設備保持全能量操作,以確保教學與研究執行使用。而其研究環境是全天候的開放,每週至少半天行維護保養,除了固定時間外,其餘設備使用時間採取預約登記方式。並收藏有相關國際論文期刊課程教材、教科書、協助通訊量測訓練手冊與資料等。可藉由測量儀器來測量所製作的通訊元件,並透過模擬軟體以驗證其結果,使其理論與量測實務均衡兼顧。

研究興趣

研究方向為應用在各種無線通訊系統之微帶天線設計,包括在行動寬頻服務之天線設計,如在DTV、WLAN、Ultra-Wideband、WiMAX、GSM、PCS之天線設計等。其中在微帶小型天線設計之天線結構包函有:

1. 偶極天線設計,

2. 單極天線設計,

3. 槽孔天線設計,

4. PIFA天線設計。

由於因應符合天線可以應用在各種無線通訊系統上而達到商業化,除了研究天線應具有之天線特性外,在實際各種無線通訊應用上,要求天線能有創新的研究,能具有縮小化而不佔面積,也因此除了可以發表在各種期刊外,也能發表在專利上。
