研究興趣

1.     自然語言處理(NLP)

利用規則方法(語意規則與理性主義)與統計方法(機器自動學習)兩者並重,建構混合適系統。自然語言常具有多重意思,也常是模稜兩可的。因次,選擇最通順適切的解釋以及消除語意的紛歧是一個重要課題,意即強化「理解」能力。此間,建立強大的詞彙庫以及了解語言行為是無可避免的工作。透過外在世界的廣泛知識,使計算機系統得以在現實世界含糊不確定的環境中執行其工作。

2.     人工智慧

主要範疇在於「類人人工智慧」之「強人工智慧」。人類智能常是透過對現實物件的本身以及物件之間的關連性做出判斷,而物件本身對於計算機系統而言可透過簡單的編碼方式存在,關鍵的問題在於關聯性的建構。現實生活中,人類對於物件關聯性常因生活背景甚至與其所受之文化而有所差異,價值觀便因此而生。在計算機方面,價值觀的建立反而是個前提。透過此價值觀,使計算機得以具備推理與解決問題的能力。

3.     影像處理

主要範疇在視訊影像之判別。透過彩色影像的基本要素,如亮度、色調以及飽和度以判影像中物件、背景的差異性。找出畫面中之前景物件,以追蹤物件,亦可進一步可結合人工智慧技術進行行為模式分析。目前成果對於物件追蹤、計數已有良好成效。

4.     H.264數位浮水印技術

H.264是近年來所提出的一套視訊壓縮標準,提供更高的壓縮效能及壓縮品質,為新一代的視訊壓縮標準。目前,針對H.264的浮水以藏入AC係數之作法為最多。但是對於AC係數的修改確稍嫌粗略,甚少實際去探討AC係數的修改是否有其限制以及任意改變AC係數是否可能造成不好的後果。一般較好且較常用的作法是將浮水印藏入Intra Frame (I-Frame)之中,而藏在Intra Frame之浮水印,在抗壓縮能力上所面臨的最大挑戰是Intra Prediction的變化。從實際的研究觀察中可以發現藏入浮水印後,面對再一次壓縮之中Intra Prediction的變化,不同的AC係數所受的影響程度並不相同。因此浮水印的藏入不能任意修改AC係數。必須考量H.264本身的壓縮程序與AC係數的關係。

2.     應用於DVR系統之即時視訊畫面防震穩定技術(97-2622-E-151-011-CC2),2008/08/01~2009/07/31,共同主持人。

3.     適應性全天候影像/視訊空間-時間域雜訊濾波器(97-2221-E-151-040-),2008/08/01~2009/07/31,共同主持人。

4.     結合H.264視訊壓縮之抗壓縮浮水印與自我組織演算法之影像源認證的數位視訊錄影認證系統(98-2221-E-151-052-),2009/08/01~2010/07/31,主持人。

5.     應用於DVR系統在昏暗環境中之視訊畫面增強技術(98-2622-E-151-009-CC3),2009/08/01~2010/07/31,共同主持人。
